Our Company
Although Green Marine is a new company, if you have seen or used a 12,15,17 or 19 inch marine monitor, you may already be familiar with our products. For years we have supplied high bright, sunlight readable LCD panels and other components to many of the largest marine companies worldwide. We have now taken our knowledge and experience and applied it to our own line of marine products. These products incorporate “state of the art” technology and manufacturing processes. So now instead of purchasing our technology built into other companies products, you can purchase our technology direct from us and save.
A Better Way To Build Technology
Our tag line not only refers to the “green” technology we build into our products but also our manufacturing and distribution processes. The main (and most costly) component of any high bright marine monitor is the panel itself. Marine monitor companies purchase these panels from manufactures like us to incorporate into their products. Additionally, other key components such as power supplies, video controller boards, inverters, etc., may need to be purchased from several different vendors. This broad supply chain introduces cost in addition to increasing risk exposure due to component obsolescence or lack of inventory.
In contrast, we design all of our own sunlight readable panels, electrical components, assemblies, and sub assemblies. Controlling the design and manufacturing of our own components provides us the “agility” to quickly incorporate the latest technological advances into our products. Furthermore, all stocking of materials, assembly, quality testing, packaging, and shipping is accomplished at our single factory. This streamlined supply chain keeps our product cost low, allowing us to pass the savings onto our customers.
